For World Plant Milk Day, we invited influencers from around Manila to create plant-based milk recipes. In this article, we share with you their amazing creations!
But first, what is World Plant Milk Day?
World Plant Milk Day was created to encourage millions of people from around the world to make the switch from dairy to plant-based alternatives, and how making the switch won't make you miss out on taste or nutrition. Plant-based milk is a healthy and safe alternative to cow milk and it has a growing use every day including milk replacement for coffee, tea and numerous recipes.
Banana Peanut Butter Oat Meal

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Bonsoy Almond Milk
1 cup Rolled Oats
1 banana, mashed
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tbs Chia seeds
A pinch of salt
Peanut Butter w coconut oil for drizzling
Banana slices for topping
Instructions:
Mix everything together except for the banana toppings and drizzled peanut butter. Once the base is done, add the sliced bananas and drizzle with peanut butter.
Choco Almond Milk Matcha

Ingredients:
2 tsps matcha powder
1/2 cup hot water
2 tbsp chocolate syrup
1/2 cup Bonsoy Almond milk
1 cup ice
Instructions:
Add the matcha powder to a cup.
Pour hot water and mix.
In another cup, pour the chocolate syrup.
Add the ice until it reaches close to the top of the cup.
Pour the almond milk until it reaches at least 3/4ths of the cup.
Top it off with the matcha.

Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl

To make this, you need to prepare:
For the smoothie:
1/4 Cup Bonsoy Almond Milk
2 Frozen Bananas
1 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
For toppings:
1 Sliced Banana
Dark Chocolate Chips
Sliced Blanched Almonds
Once done preparing the ingredients, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Add the ingredients to make a smoothie on a blender. Blend it on low speed for a minute then turn to high speed until you achieve a smoothie texture.
2. Put the smoothie in a bowl and add the toppings.
3. Enjoy a yummy and healthy treat!
Chocolate Pudding with Almond Milk

Ingredients:
3 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
1 1/2 cups of Bonsoy Almond Milk
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup organic white suga4
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Whisk your cornstarch and water together in a bowl.
Whisk your cornstarch and water together in a bowl.
In a saucepan, add almond milk.
Add the cocoa and mix.
Add the vanilla extract.
Mix the cornstarch and water.
Set to medium heat.
Continue to stir until the mixture has thickened.
Transfer to a bowl and let it cool at room temperature for 10 mins before putting it inside the refrigerator.
Leave in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Optional: add fruits on top.
Choc Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1/4 cup Bonsoy Almond Milk
- 1 tbsp Da Vinci Chocolate Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Chia Seeds
Procedure:
1. Blend all the ingredients together
2. Optional: add chocolate syrup

Belgian Waffle Snack
Ingredients:
4 cups All-Purpose Flour
4 tsp of active dry yeast
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp of salt
1 cup Bonsoy Almond Milk
2 cups of melted butter
6 Eggs
2 tspn of Vanilla Extract
Instructions:
Mix all wet ingredients into a bowl.
Mix all dry ingredients into another bowl.
Mix the wet ingredients slowly into the bowl with the dry ingredients.
Let it rise for at least 15 mins before making the waffle.
Chunky Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:
300grams potatoes
1 cup Bonsoy almond milk
Salt
Instructions:
1. Wash the potatoes.
2. Slice the potatoes into cubes.
3. Boil it for 10-15 minutes until soft.
4. Drain the water and transfer into a bowl.
5. Mash the potatoes and add Almond milk.
